MARGARET, A NATIVE AUSTINITE, HAS ALWAYS HAD AN INTELLECT FOR BUSINESS. SHE BEGAN WORKING, BY CHOICE, IN HER FATHER’S PACKAGE STORE AT THE AGE OF SEVEN. WHILE STUDYING BUSINESS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN IN THE EARLY 1980S, WITH THE INTENT OF GOING INTO THE FASHION INDUSTRY, MARGARET DECIDED TO CONTINUE ON AS THIRD GENERATION IN HER FAMILY’S WINE AND SPIRITS BUSINESS WITH A VISION TO ELEVATE THE LIQUOR INDUSTRY, AND IN DOING SO, ATTRACT THE UNTAPPED POTENTIAL OF THE FEMALE CONSUMER. JABOUR’S LOVE FOR FASHION INSPIRED HER TO CARRY THE AMBIENCE OF FINE DEPARTMENT STORES INTO HER NEW VISION FOR THE RETAIL BEVERAGE INDUSTRY.

HER VISION WAS ONE THAT WOULD TAKE MAJOR PRECEDENCE IN RESHAPING THE FACE OF THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE INDUSTRY BY OPENING THE DOOR TO THE FEMALE CONSUMER THROUGH REFINED PRODUCTS, EDUCATION, AND TASTINGS. MARGARET’S VISION TO ELEVATE THE INDUSTRY CREATED RIPPLES THROUGHOUT A MALE DOMINATED INDUSTRY AND BROUGHT CHANGES IN ADVERTISING BY BRAND OWNERS. IN 2008, MARKET WATCH MAGAZINE HONORED MARGARET AND TWIN LIQUORS WITH THEIR “COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD,” FOR PROVIDING OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY SERVICE. IN 2008, MARGARET WAS HONORED TO BE FEATURED AS
